What's a reasonable limit for the load on a single airbed? I am in no way willing to confess my weight, but suffice to say that I'm no Kate Moss! I'd hate to buy one, and then pop it on it's maiden voyage!!
Our aerobed takes OH and my wight perfectly which is 26 and a half stone. The quality of the air bed will determine if it'll take the weight and still be inflated by the morning!!! and even into the follow week...
------------- It always rains on tents. Rainstorms will travel thousands of miles, against prevailing winds for the opportunity to rain on a tent.
Suggestion - don't thump down (or otherwise exert sudden pressure!) on your airbed or you'll pop the interior seals and end up with one massive air bubble in the middle ... hilarious trying to sleep on, we likened it to attempting to lie on one of those wembley bouncers and gave up, deflated it in the end, but not so funny the next morning when you've had zero shut-eye and have rib-ache from all the laughing.
It was just a £4 tesco value one and we took it back and got it replaced (it was the first outing) and treated the next one with a bit more respect .. but that only lasted a few more trips before it too developed a leak on one of the seams .. you do get what you pay for.
i am marred to a rather large italian and im not exactly posh spice plus we offten ahve a couple of greyhound on the bed with us and its a cheep lidl one and there must be some nights 36stone on them and i toss and turn all night and dogs jump on and off
