I have bought a pro action nevada 8 man 3 room tent from Argos, me being dumb I have snapped one of the tent poles, Argos are sending a replacement however it is not coming for 4 weeks, and I go away in 2 weeks!!!! Does anybody know where I would be able to find a suitable pole for this tent?
any pole will do ,it just has to be long enough and thin enough at the top to pop in the plastic bit ,even a bit of bamboo othe right dimensions will suffice in an emergency.
if you could find a long broom handle a hole drilled in one end for the pin and a bit of whittling on the top will get you out of trouble.
cant see how you broke one of those though must have been a big wind
Our Proaction tent , had a spare pole with it , which was just as well as we split one the first time we put it up. We bought some spare ones from camping international , but never needed them.
