I am too old to rough it now, and like my creature comfort such as a fan heater, blow up bed, table and chairs to sit on, a tall enough tent so that I do not have to crawl on all 4s etc...
I looked through the other thread where everyone has posted their tent set up pictures and have to admit that my own set up looks very modest in comparison!
We take, tent, one ring stove, air beds and bedding, few folding chairs, cooking equipt and a wind break...I feel quite inadequate now lol
As for how you look when camping, I have to take my make up with me as for me that is just part of getting dressed in the morning!
My duaghterts partner reckons were glampers but then he is the ray mears tarp vcamping sort of guy. He admitted on our last camp he didn't mind the glamping bit it was packing up all the gear he did,t like.
We must be about a 6 no EHU but when we are at our fav spot ie. facilities of just a field and river. We do take cooking tent, toilet tent as well as a dining shelter.
