I have a Cadac Eazi Chef and am wondering if it's a good idea to get the lid before we go away. Do you use it much or is it an extra I don't really need?

Takes up too much space that could otherwise be taken with larger, we leave ours at home.

We do use our lid (infact we would not take it without it). Makes it more versatile, we can bbq, roast (roasts large chicken and potatoes in under 2 hours), baked potatoes (easy peasy), cook pizzas, etc. If you can fit it in, I would recommend one.

I take the handle off and it fits over a bag in the top box.

we've never used our lid as the screws were missing when we bought it. What do you use to roast a chicken and potatoes as it might be worth trying to the lid sorted
