We are off next Fri for 10/11 nights. Weather looks to be wet but so far winds look fine, so we are just gonna go!

Please post tent pics in the Tent Talk section, I want to start getting excited by all your recent holiday pics.

PS I was SO bored in that hotel in Spain, but have to admit the weather was AMAZING!!!

We are new to camping and have just had a week comprising of 50% high winds and heavy rain, 25% so-so and 25% glorious sunshine...........we loved it! .....all of it.

Be safe and take plenty of warm clothes just in case and it'll be fine.......have a great time.

I did and it's still a firm NO, Madrid on the cards for NY, and that is tempting (used to live there and it's my fav city after Lyon).

After an honest appraisal from the site owner and the offer of a transfer, we have decided to put off our trip to the Lakes.  It's not the rain that bothers me it's the thought of pitching on a muddy bog!  So, as we've got a travelodge booked in Cumbria we're setting off early tomorrow morning, having the day in Blackpool and then heading to the travelodge for an overnight stop, then back across the Dales.

We still have our trip to Jasmine Park next week to look forward to.
