We have an outwell tent, but not a kids room. But we do have a spiderman tent inside my 5 year old sons sleeping pod. He loves it, also retreats there during the day if he needs some downtime.
We open the zip between the 2 pods and we can check on him and he can come through. also gives us a little more room and some privacy.
It came from tesco's originally and they still have blue or pink ones for a tenner.
Lidl or aldi had chacter ones too.

Stuff making it look nice what I want is black out pods. Not so much for the evening but for the early mornings. Our Killington has "comfort colours" over the pods and our 3 yr old gets up at 8.30ish but in our new Iowa it's really light and bright and we saw 7 am most mornings. I did try a makeshift ikea black fleece strung over the bedroom pod but it had little or no measurable effect and played havoc with the ventilation.
I like the sound of battery operated fairy lights. We also use his pod as a playroom and "his space". He does like the outwell bedroom pods but I think they are overpriced and perhaps over stimulating. He would like using the little mini door though!

i personally don't do anything for my kids pods. They are older now 17, 13,13 &10. The three boys all have the same bags pillows and fleeces, tho they are named to prevent the arguements lol. The only time they are in their pod is to sleep or if they've wound metheir dad/siblings up big time, then they get told to get in there till they/other p[erson is calm again. So as they're in their for punishment then i don't want fun things in there.

Mean mum aren;t i????
