Hello, I've seen a few posts about the poles snapping on the side porch of the Montana 6 (as they're so tight to get in).  We've recently bought a Montana 6 secondhand and when we tried it out we noticed the pole was already snapped - and the naughtly people hadn't said anything!!

We've called Yeomans, GoOutdoors and local dealer (we live in Stoke on Trent) and have had no luck with a spare.  Although, finally we came across a very nice lady in Warrington who is going to ring their rep for us tomorrow and see what they can do.

I've noticed Outwell do a fibre glass pole kit, and wondered if anyone has used these and if they will do the job - not sure if there would be enough bend in it?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated thank you!!!!

we had the same problem ,only we dropped the tent and forgot to remove the porch pole first ( you only forget to do this once)

got a replacement ordered in from sk camping http://www.skcamping.com/contact/

 Do hold on to the broken one as this will come in use if it should break again

Hello, we contacted our local Yeomans and they emailed their Head Office to see if they had one and send it through.  I must add that the new pole is slightly shorter than our original, so hopefully it'll be easier to set up now!

We did try contacting loads of dealers though, and not many were very helpful.  One even said to contact Outwell direct and you'll get one within a couple of days - but you can't contact them direct, only through the dealers and even then they have to go through their Rep!!

Keep an eye on ebay as World of Camping were selling a full set of Montana 6 poles and they only went for a few quid.
