I'm new to this site, and also new to camping. Me and my other half have just returned from a week's stay at Treloy Touring Park in Newquay. Despite the torrential rain and gale force winds, we have defo caught the camping bug
We have bought a Vango Oregon 800, and a canopy to go with it. Does anyone have any ideas on how best to put the canopy up? We ended up with a gap where it should lie flush with the tent. No amount of pulling and moving it helped. Any ideas where we are going wrong?
Thanks in advance. Trapsy xx

We have the same tent and same problem, i dont think it helps with uneven ground either... We have just been away but used a gelert porch canopy which we found fitted better..
You are talking about the side canopy with the steel poles here, yes? The one that sits over the side door? Because no other canopy is designed to fit the Oregon. I've got this combo and it lies perfectly when it's put symmetrically over the two doorway poles...any sideways slip one way or orther will give the gap.
