Hi all

I know its being lazy but being new to camping i'm sure there will be plenty of suggestions and help from you all.

Me the wife and kids (6 & 4) are looking to go away camping the week after next to the lake district.  Can anybody please suggest any decent sites - we are looking to go tues to friday and would like EHU, play area on site, ideally by a lake or river (i'm thinking of getting one of those inflatable dinghys), decent pub close by for a bite to eat, usual stuff

Waterside Farm at pooley bridge is an excellent site.  It has a fairly decent play park for the kids and is set right on the side of ullswater.  There is a footpath right along the side of the lake that takes you right into the village.  We go here alot and would highly recommend it.
