Hi Jayne, I don`t know exact measurements as don`t read instructions (typical male) but try this, quite a bit of water in the top and some pink, not a lot of water in the bottom and a good bit of blue.
I have a Thetford toilet but can't find the instructions anywhere.
On the side of the liquid bottles (pink flush & Blue for bottom tank) it actually tells you how much of the liquid per litre of water. I normally put quite a lot of water in the flush tank.
In the bottom though you don't need much (perhaps a litre) - yes the fluid does break down the waste but we try not to use it for the solids !!!! Emergency only !!! I must say that I have only used the special toilet tissue which is expensive but lasts ages and again, yes it does break that down also.
Even using all the above, sometimes it is smelly when emptying it - hence why all us women send the men if possible!
Just bought a van and remembered I have exactly the same unit which if memory serves I bought at Aldi or Lidl about 15yrs ago and hardly used it(if at all) how did you get on with instructions afterall please?
