I always recycle my aerosols, maybe you can do the same with empty gas cannisters too ?

a expended gas canister is no more dangerous than a aerosol - if its fulll or half full thats a different matter.------------- Camped since 2008 and still loving it!

Don't see why not, but if there are facilities for recycling use "cans" or better still "steel cans" if they are empty. Our council recycling collection are happy to take mixed recyclables - packaging, paper, all types of cans etc., while the "tip" accepts refillable Calor/Campingaz cylinders if anyone should need to dispose of one, though I can't imagine why anyone would want to!

a lot of sites were ive been have gas disposal points which the site manager then disposes of safely
