Thought there'd be no more camping weekends away for me this season but have managed to arrange things so that ds and I can have 3 nights away at half term - yippeeeeeeeeee!!!!!

Just booked at The Orchard campsite in Suffolk - have heard great things about this site and looking forward to having a campfire

I know several of you lovely folk have been there - any hints, tips or advice?

Will be testing out the nevada i think this time - small, cosy and SIG which will be good in October - BUT....... will I regret not having canvas? I've booked EHU and we are well set up for the coldre weather - went last october and braved hailstorms etc. Actually I really like off season camping - nothing nicer than being snug inside the tent when it's cold and dreary outside. Just hoping it's not too windy.

I am very jealous. I don't think we will have time to fit another trip in, and I am sure my OH would refuse to go anyway as he would say it would be to cold. Have a great time and I will just have to look forward to next spring.
