If you're concerned about safety, don't forget to ensure that your microwave is rated for ourdoor use. With the condensation you'll get winter camping there will be quite a lot of moisture in the air.

Could I hook my cooker hood and extractor up to an EHU? And does anybody else have a powershower in their tent.

Sorry just couldn't resist

I used to take a power shower, but I got tired of roughing it so now I use one of these in a spare sleeping pod, but only if I'm staying for at least a long weekend.

Does anyone take a microwave with them? Would you risk a microwave as your only way of cooking or do you take another stove as well?

I don't take a microwave, but know people who do. They do also take a stove though.
