Am trying to source a front extension from my outwell iowa L. Yeomans and the tent team have recently had them on offer at £69.99 instead of their usual £99 ish but have now completely sold out.
So do I buy one at £99 or do I wait it out and see if they come down in price over the winter - what do you guys think?
Part of me thinks £99 for a porch when the whole tent was only £200 is a bit too much but ultimately we would like one and would hate for them to run out and or discontinue the tent or change it's colour for next year and then completely lose out. Think I've just talked myself into it!
The fact that some stores are running out of stock, I would say buy one now as there is no guarantee that prices will come down over the winter. As you say they may not do it next season or change the colour (this wouldn't bother me personally!)
Yes it does sound expensive when compared to the price you paid for the tent but if you want it and it gives you extra space, then surely it's worth it?
The front extension is well worth buying,purchased for our Iowa ,and makes a huge difference to the entrance for shelter and cooking.ours cost £99 but as i say ,well worth the money so i would get one while you can.

Terrible thing this winter weather - you apply handcream to keep your skin soft but it does make your fingers slip terribly when you're looking to buy camping stuff on the Net!!!
I was having terrible trouble getting a porch for my Gelert Horizon 6- the only place that had them in stock were a tenner more than everywhere else...after much humming an hawing I bit the bullet and placed my order.
I've since found out those porches have been discontinued...Phew, result!
PS: Consider the carpet a "bonus"
