Can anyone reccomend a campsite for easter in the north (Peak district, cumbria, eastcoast, yorkshire) that doesnt insist on three day booking over bankholiday!! One of our party has to work Sat morning so only wanna camp 2 nights!

Any help?

You will find that quite a few camp sites are doing this now over all the bank holiday weekends - so unfair on those who have to work and can only get a way for 2 nights.

It's all about money

Unfortunately this isn't unusual for a Bank Holiday - many sites now insist on a 3 or 4 night minimum stay.

If you're a member of CC or C&CC you could try booking onto a CL or CS.

Try Abbots house, Goathland, North Yorkshire basic but ok.

It may also has something to do with less admin over the BH weekends, so that the staff can have a easier time themselves perhaps.
