I've seen recommendations for the use of Dunelm fleece/thermal mattress covers over airbeds. Is there a reason why these are better than Wilko's equivalents? If they are better, I'll buy online rather than popping into Wilkos.

The Dunelm fleece is great dont know about the Wilko's.

Thanks to the suggestions, I got 2 Wilko's fleecy mattress covers/ protectors yesterday... about £6.50 for the double.

I've had chance now to try them out - they fit the longer length of our Coleman Maxi Comforts (both the double and single) a treat and their fitted sheet design means that we don't need anything to hold them in place either. The fleecy bit covers all the bed apart from the pillow area by design. Can feel the difference in insulation even in the house... A good buy I think!

Woofers now why didn't I think of that...........we have two redundant ones due to a new aerobed and it will take my little girl Lab at least a day to eat through it
