Camping for 1 night tonight at Oulton Park, then away for all of the bank holiday weekend. We're using the winter kit tonight as it looks like it could be a bit nippy and windy.

My sister camped with her three kids in a tent last Easter - said the snow was better than rain! Has persuaded us to join them this year so will be doing 4 nights at Hadrian's Wall the week after next in tent, no EHU . I've was in hospital with a severe chest infection / asthma last week so not sure this is a good idea but we've paid and I'm fed of up of having been stuck inside all winter...

We're going tomorrow night for 1 night, then we've got a long weekend over Easter. Got all the things to make us snuggly ready, 1 more sleep :o)

we are going away on the 1st. our childrens schoolsbreak up on wednesday because both the schools have inset (teacher Training ) days on the 1st. Do wonder if this is something to do with the queen coming to derby on this day or not.
