We've just got back from our first camping trip and had such a good time. Took the kids to Flamingo Land, it was so quiet, 3 tents there Friday, 6 saturday and 2 Sunday.

I would like to say thanks for all the advice I recieved on keeping warm, there was a frost on Saturday night and dispite the ice needing to be scraped off the windscreen of my car we were all snug and warm in the tent, not one of us were cold in the night. I can't wait to get away again

Glad you had a good time :)

We throughly enjoyed our first trip last month, so much so that me and the little fella are off in May for a weekend and then a week at the end of May. The camping bug has bitten us (well me at least) hard :-)

I went camping last weekend and there was only two tents on the Friday evening, of which I was one - and on the Saturday evening I was the only tent! Glad you had such a good time!

Found the site ok, friendly staff showers and toilets were clean with pleanty of hot water. The theme park has loads to do in it. We went swimming while we were there, pleanty of changing rooms and lockers and it was free. we are going to book to go back begining of June but I'm expecting it to be busy then. I had EHU which was brill as I have an autistic son who really dislikes night so he had a lamp and my in car dvd so he could watch a film in the evening, really helped him keep calm being away
