we just come back from france and we had a cadac a cobb a 2 burner stove and a suitcase cooker and we used evrything, we took the cobb and the cadac as we got the cadac for xmas and hadnt used and we were worried it might not cook like we expected but it was fine

what are the coleman fold n go's like ive read that the canister only lasta 1 hour and they are expensive

We use two suitcase stoves as they pack easily around other kit in the car and you don't need a gas bottle - They also provide a sturdy heatproof base to put disposable BBQs on

It depends which car I'm taking!!

If we're all going (2 adults, teen and 2 children) I take the 2 burner stove with grill, folding barrel BBQ, stainless steel 3 tier steamer and possibly the slow cooker and mini oven!!

The propane gas on the Colemans should last around 5 hours. They aren't cheap at about £12 for 2 bottles (come as a pair) but as we have them for the Norhtstar as well.........

The best thing about the propane bottles is that you can take them off and they self seal.

The stove is really good - great amount of heat and cooks really well. Stores brilliantly too. Takes a fair sized pan too.
The only negative we had was that the stove itself did retain some gas and unless you burnt it off once you had detatched the bottle you can smell the gas leaking out of the stove (does that make sense?)
