hello

could anyone recommend tent displays in the north west p[lease? we went to one at blakemere a couple of week sago and was wondering if there were any more on in or around the north west. ther used to be one in poynton area but cant seem to find it. or a good range on display in shops?

We have been to Casey's in Chester, Camperlands in Manchester, and Go Outdoors in Wigan, we went very early in the season so the displays weren't up at Casey's or Go Outdoors but they were about to be done...

Not been round any this year, so don't tknow if they're all up yet, but there's a small Yeomans at Trentham Gardens near Stoke that normally has a few tents up, and according to the Yeoman's website, is currently holding a tent exhibition at the Trentham Monkey Forest...  Also Stapeley water gardens near Nantwich have some up. Great Outdoors in Sealand outside Chester usually have a lot of small ones up undercover that you go through the store to get to, and the family size ones up in the field behind the houses on the left as you go in.

Go Outdoors (Wigan + Stockport), Yeomans and Winfields already mentioned.

As for one of the smaller businesses, I can thoroughly reccommend Springfields in Luddenfoot (Nr Sowerby Bridge). They have their displays pitched indoors of a mill.

What I really liked about the displays were that they were furnished with camp beds, tables, chairs, etc. so you had a better idea of how the set up would look. Friendly staff who were more than willing to help a first timer.
