They have finally convinced me to buy a tent and go camping. We have an Atlanta 8 (740 x 310). We have just called a site to book and their pitch size is 27ft x 27ft... is this enough room to pitch a tent, have a people carrier car and still enough room to be able to sit there with a bbq?

Any help before I bottle out and book a hotel ;o)

If it helps, 27 ft is approximately 9 metres, so the pitch would be 9m x 9m. If your tent is 7.4m by 3.1m it should give you enough room.

Don't forget you need to allow for around a metre in each direction for your guy ropes.
