Personally I would go with option 1 especially if you are going ehu
We have a similar one to that and they are really good - thoughthat price is a bit high and I would shop about a bit - even the ones in Halfords are cheaper (and the same thing but 40ltr)

Have similar to option two, but a coleman Is huge and I think we paid about £70 for it last year. We used big juice bottles filled with water (frozen obviously) instead of the blue efforts and we still had ice 6 days later.
We dont use ehu so this has worked out really well for us.------------- good things come in cookies

I am personally leaning to a non electrical cooler, so do they really last as long as they claim or do you have to keep topping up with ice packs?
That way I am not tied to a EHU site
Was thinking something like this

My OH is a chef so we left ours in his big walk in freezer for a couple of days before hand, used 1 bag of ice when on site and food stayed cold all week, i was a bit sceptical before i brought it. We dont use ehu cant think what we would use it for apart from heaters, we only camp from may - sep so have never felt the need for heaters. If your not going ehu or just want the option there great.
