We've done it all long haul, short haul, statics, city breaks, skiing etc etc.  Apart from the skiing which is just brilliant I can put my hand on my heart and truly say I don't miss any of it.  OH likes a holiday in the sun so we take the tent to the sun - last year it was the Vendee and this year its Italy - simple!  We are moving on to a caravan at the end of this season but thats only so we can camp more often as hubbys work & commute limit & with all the packing & pitching involved in tenting we don't get away as often as we'd like but you just can't beat the freedom camping gives you & when you start comparing the prices.....!  I'm really fussy about accommodation so taking my own works for aswell!!!!! 

Having said OH likes a holiday in the sun each year - he seems to be transformed as he's suggesting we try Trevornick next year instead. 

Never say never but I can't see us doing anything else - its definitely our idea of a holiday!

I consider home and abroad as holidays!

If we could afford it we would do both, but we can't this year so our main holiday is Cornwall with about 50+ families who use this website.

I love any holiday away rom every day life and washing, ironing, etc still have to do a bit of cooking whilst on hols, unless full board

Love the camping and to me it's a holiday

OH thinks more of the caravan as being a holiday

But also love skiing hols, and going on safari was the best holiday ever

I just like getting away anywhere
