Hi all

So put up my Skandika solaris II for the first time last week and managed to overstress a pole section...it split lengthways.

anyway I now need to replace it before my next trip in 4 weeks or so.

pole is 9.6mm Dia and 950mm long (without sockets/ferrules)

would prefer poles bound to prevent splintering (durawrap)

any advice on where to get poles of that size in UK, preferably online.

Cheers

950mm long ? thats unusually long for a fibreglass pole.
Thats about 3ft long isnt it , most fibreglass sections are nearer 2ft long

Outwell sell replacement durawrap pole kits, but they are about 65cm long sections, you will have to cut 2 to size.

put a bit of masking tape around the pole where you need to cut it , and use a junior hacksaw.

vango 9.5 pole set

Outwell pole kit £19.99
