I've been looking for an extension for the 2009 Outwell Colorado 5 tent in Mocha. This tent has been discontinued in the 2010 range. I've been keeping an eye on ebay for the last month, but no luck and nowhere has any in stock. Presumably, unless I'm very lucky, I'm going to need to look at alternatives. To this end I'm considering the Gelert Horizon 6 Porch as it's roughly the correct size

Whilst I doubt anyone has this exact combination, does anyone have any experience of creating a mutant tent/extension hybrid in this way. Is it likely to just fall over or is it something I can make work?

Alternatively does anyone use any of the universal canopies and are they any good?

Any help will be much appreciated.

I also have a colorado 5, but mine is blue. I can't actually afford the front extension at the moment even if I could find one, but that didn't stop me searching! I found this side extension but the picture is rubbish so not sure how exactly it would work.

Also this outwell side canopy.

Like you, I can't find any actual front extensions in stock anywhere which is a bit of a shame

Thanks sunvalleysue, that looks like another possible option. I'll have a look at the setup guide on the outwell site and see if I can figure a way that I can attach it to the c5 in a secure manner.

Yeah, it's a bummer that it's been discontinued. That side canopy looks like another possible option.
