Hi ritchie rich (lucky you btw lol)

I have decide to attempt something like what you are saying, though im going to try to make something which doesnt need taping on, not sure how i will make it stay upright but thiking if i make some little slots whitch pegs can be put into at either end and maybe one in the middle these can just be pushed into the ground and will make them long enough to tuck under the groundsheet.

Sounds like it will work in my head, my sewing isnt the best and im not sure the plasticy tarp thing I have will be ok to stitch but I will give it a go.

Hmmmmm maybe glue would work better on the plasticy tarp stuff, or will the rain just make it fall apart.  Will give it a go and see.

We had a tent like this, get the plastic groundsheet cheap oversized for the tent.and buy some self-adhesive velcro. That stuff sticks like ?*"1 and is waterproof to a point. use it on the corners to create bathtub effect plus a couple of little strips every couple of feet along the main wall. You can remove traces of glue whenever you decide to sell tent later by rubbing it gently.
