Just wanted to thank those that contribute to this fantastic site. We have have taken the plunge and ordered out first family tent - an Outwell Oakland XL. We ordered it from Go Outdoors with the carpet for £270 then got £50 off in their promo for spending over £250 so whole thing came to £220 which seems like a pretty good deal to me.

I'll be sure to post a review of the tent in the review section and take lots of pics.

Congrats on your new tent.  I'm having our new sleeping bags tomorrow outwell camper lux ones, got a price matched deal with my local Yeomans chap and they get delivered to the store tomorrow for me to collect.  Just need a tidy coolbox and we're ready for the off.
