Just wanted to thank those that contribute to this fantastic site. We have have taken the plunge and ordered out first family tent - an Outwell Oakland XL. We ordered it from Go Outdoors with the carpet for £270 then got £50 off in their promo for spending over £250 so whole thing came to £220 which seems like a pretty good deal to me.

I'll be sure to post a review of the tent in the review section and take lots of pics.

Congratulations on your new tent.

We have the same one and also got a fantastic price from Go Outdoors. Haven't used it yet, we're off this weekend.

Good luck

Good luck to you to, we are hoping to get away next week. Just need to sort out a double airbed and we are sorted.

Congrats on your new tent.  I'm having our new sleeping bags tomorrow outwell camper lux ones, got a price matched deal with my local Yeomans chap and they get delivered to the store tomorrow for me to collect.  Just need a tidy coolbox and we're ready for the off.

I'm sooooo addicted to this site

Hope you enjoy your new tent. I've got the Montana, and if it's outwell it's brill.
