I have been reading a lot here and see that lots of couples share their tents for many weeks each year. I know its a touchy subject, but it can be tastefully done, so, any tips for a little 'slap & tickle' without alerting the other campers ?
I would guess its lights out for sure, otherwise it'll be like a shadow puppet show.
Over to you............

Slap & Tickle reminds me of carry on camping!!!!!
OOOOOOOOOH MATRON!!!!!

We were camping in a storm on this campsite, howling gales and lashing rain, the young couple near to us either thought we wouldn't hear or just didn't care, were going 'at it' hammer and tong and we heard everything, they were very impressive, i nearly gave them a round of applause when they had finished, they were that good i even had a cigarette and i don't smoke, never saw them surface the following day though.
Just been reading this with a drink after work & it has made me laugh. Reminded me of my first camping trip to Cornwall a few light years ago with a boyfriend, you know what it is like when you are young & in love. I remember that we kept knocking over the main pole in our enthusiasm . I convinced myself that our neighbours wouldnt know why it kept falling down - oh dear, nothing like self deluson.

When camping with kids you need to be inventive
Missus sat on top and then sing nursery ryhmes.
Ride a Cockhorse to Banbury Cross is a goodun.
Gee up Neddy to the Fair.
And the for the Grande Finale
For he's a Jolly Good fellow
You mean you manage to get through all three?? Sheeeesh ...
Least you tenters dont have to concern yourselves with the caravan rocking ...and the awning floor amongst the wellies and the cadac, on a breathable groundsheet with the rain soaking through dampens your ardour somewhat let me tell you ....

their's nothing quite like popping into the tent after a lovely days walking for that 'afternoon kip', its fun espesually in our tent as we tend to have three dogs whatching us, just keep your giggles to a minimum and try your damndest to keep yourselfs from leaning on the sides of the tent then nobody will know what you are up to unless one of you is noisy at the end...erm not to taistful (sorry moderator!)
Me and OH can't even hold hands or cuddle in front of our lab Bailey, he jumps in between us, so wouldn't even attempt anything else!!
Bit like Comet - Can I join in? Can I join in? bad enough at home with him - impossible when camping, especially with two kids in the camper. Last time we tried Alice wanted to know why the camper was rocking, and when we said it was the wind she was frightened so I had to go back to my bed, which I share with her. Richard tends to take up a whole side of the camper to himself as he sleeps diagonally across the bed, so Alice and I have the other bed, and Pip the table. Comet tends to share with Alice and me.
I can remember coming back from the loo block one rather wet afternoon, and hearing a camper rocking rythmically - wasn't jealous - honest.
Well, one of the advantages of being...er....mediocre in the sack is that noone on site notices when youre at it......unfortunately that includes my wife!
