I went to Home Bargains today and bought a lovely wine red ladies cagoule for £3.99, a very large multipurpose black tray for £1.59 (useful for muddy shoes, lifting things in and out on etc) and a Nintendo DSi travel pack including console case, 2 stylus, screen protector kit, car charger, earphones and wrist strap for £2.99 (just realised the charger is not compatible with the older DS  so might try and get a refund on this!)

Love getting bargains and am especially pleased with the large multipurpose tray (70cm x 35cm)!

There are lots of bargains out there at the moment  all the supermarkets seem to be selling off their camping range.

Went to B&Q and picked up 2 Gelert Freedom 300DL sleeping bags for £14.99 each and a Gelert kettle for £4.98. Also got a tarp for our canopy for £3.00.

Then hot-footed it over to Dunelm Mill and bought the kingsize thermal underblanket for £9.99, hoping it will keep out the chill on our airbed (it's going on our own bed in the winter, despite what hubby says).

Finally picked up a mesh pop-up style laundry/storage basket from Asda for £2.00.

Gawd knows how this will all fit in our car?!

That's what we really wanted Steve, but it seems bigger is cheaper and ended up with a 2 litre. We deduced that at least we can use the surplus water to boil or poach our morning eggs.

There's a few 1 litre kettles on ebay with free p&p for around a fiver.
