hi going to silverstone at the weekend for the superbikes, thought my camping days were over but just bought an icarus 500 which looks great, we have also bought the canopy it will have its first outing at the weekend. got an ehu pitch but was really wanting to put my kitchen table unit in the porch to have kettle on etc, would i be able to run an extention cable from my ehu which will be situated iside the living area to go through the main door and into the canopy. any info would be appreciated.

Hi Barbara,

we have just returned from france with out icarus 500.

We used an extension cable when away and left the EHU outside in the porch. it worked fine but i am not sure what wattage the site was (thing it was very low).

We just put the extension through the front door, the only problem which aint a big deal is you cant zip the door all the way down.

Hope that helps you & enjoy your trip.

Cheers

Scott
