We have a very retro camping kitchen that we found up DH's parents attic last year. It's about 30 years old, covered in a retro floral design, has a built in washing up bowl (with lid which doubles as a chopping board) and 3 solid shelves, 1.5M wide, sturdy but collapses flat. It's awesome and haven't seen anything else like it :-). Defo our necessity we couldn't live without!
Luxury extra - camping carpet.Oooh, I'd love to see piccies of the floral kitchen! It sounds really cool!
I could do without almost anything but an airbed. If I had to sleep on hard ground, I think my old bones would give up the fight, and they'd have to take me to A&E to get me moving again!

Hey FoF - I'll take a piccie of it next week. We're going to Ty Parke in St David's for the week (first time we've camped for a full week, can't wait :-) ).

I would never go without my Delta`s. Been to some very windy sites this year.

I've managed with just a tent peg before
I couldn't camp without my Trangia - got lots of other must-haves these days but once managed with just my Trangia and a tarp!

I would say my six legged fishing bed...and as an add on my fourseasons sleeping bag....never slept so well or soundly in a tent since I got them(except for the beds in the TT)...My days of sleeping on the ground or on an air bed are well over(except in emergncies)
