Any recommendations on an alternative to the footprint for the Monty.

I can't help but think that £32 for a groundsheet seems expensive. However, as we are camping in a wooded area this summer i need to protect the bottm of the tent from twigs and stones etc.

Buy a cheap tarp from any good DIY store and cut it to size.

Remember to cut it 1"-2" smaller than the tent to prevent water from pooling between them.
