Stops you having to kill the little beasties which are rather useful in nature
Apparently Wasp serve no use at all in nature, there was an internview on 5live this mornign with a pest control expert. They are just scavengers, and do not pollenate trees or flowers, and destroy our native Bee specices. So a dead wasp is a good wasp!!!
unfortunately they have the ability to avoid the tennis bat zapper by extending their legs in order to straddle and grip the inert wires, and in moves only seen in the finest ninja films or perhaps the new karate kid film they manage to escape the deadly kiss of the 'zapper'....
unless.............
you have a 'landed' wasp in which case just throw the zapper on to them and when they try to climb through the mesh..............zap em.......mwahahhahahahah
Im glad I read this as it has reminded me to pack the waspinator we have over our french doors at home - I put it up in April when the wasps started visiting us (they are normally a pest in our back garden) and slowly and surely they disappeared - I can't remember the last time we saw one actually.
