hi, we would rarely use EHU, so it seems expensive(even on ebay-£50+).

so my question is can i use an in line breaker or the plug type the you use for the mower or is this a complete no-no, i can get the sparky at work to do the in line type and test it. thanks

Obviously safety is the paramount concern. I also wonder whether you would save much money by the time you buy separate components. I think it would be ill advised to use normal domestic cable because of the potential risk of  damge. I appreciate that its a lot of money but at least it would be fit for purpose. There could also be concerns from th site owner if you were using a non standard electrical system.

thanks david, i work on a big site so use same plugs and industrial cable(and hoping for free). good point about concent of non standard stuff, cheers
