We have just recently bought a 2nd hand trailer. It does the job and is boarded out in some kind of ply, but could do with painting to spruce it up.
My other half jokingly said 'lets paint it in chalkboard paint' and I am now thinking that its a fab idea! We have two small girls and they would love to have a mobile chalkboard to draw on!
Would it work? Would I need to use a primer 1st? I guess it would be ok in wet weather? Chalkboards can live outside right? Is this a dumb idea or might it just work?
I am currently preparing my trailer to be painted the same as my Mini and caravan so that all 3 will be pink, orange, yellow, green and turquoise with flowers all over them!!
If the trailer is wooden, then you can paint it any colour you like with any paint. There's another post on here somewhere from Moose579, he's just refurbished a trailer.
I think you'll have to do some prep work if it's a galvanised steel or an aluminium trailer, paint doesn't stick too well. But you can get the correct primers from most hardware or car parts shops.
Don't forget to post the results...
