just wanted to say hello,we were there at this time also,in the large field with the 2 springer spaniels near the gate by the woods. The metor shower was fantastic,hopefuuly will be going back this year sometime.

We are off to Fforest Fields tomorrow friends who are already there say pitch 56 had been reserved for us. I can picture exactly where this is (we were at FF 3 times last year )
DH is worried about the proximity to the road. We have a 7 year old DD and an almost 1 year old mad (no sense) puppy.
Any thoughts?

I'm sure you will be fine on pitch 56, that's the one that lil was on last year and it's a great, roomy pitch ,pretty close to the facilities but not too close to the road (i've never notived that the people who visit there drive like morons anyway)... I'm hoping that we get those pitches again this year when we are there the first week of August but there are a couple of others that i have in mind too

Hi - just want to say to you all thanks for digging up the thread. We are going on Friday for the first time and we can't wait!!! However, we have just booked the dog into the kennels - red setter you know - been told he will always be a mad puppy!! Still no sense at 2 1/2, and we don't want to spoil every one else's camping trip.
