We went away for a couple of nights in June and thought we'd packed the tent (Maritsa 700) away dry but when we got it out on holiday in August there were white mould spots on the inners and some black mould spots on the outers.

I'm planning to wash the inners in the machine with some milton but does anyone have advice for the flysheet?

Can I wipe a polyester tent with milton to get rid of the spores?  I'm not too bothered about stains but I just don't want the mould to get any worse when we pack the tent away for the winter.

If I do use milton on either the inside of the flysheet do I need to reproof or just if I use it on the outside?

Hi Griswolds & welcome to the forum

As it's a synthetic tent, the waterproofing is a PU membrane on the inside of the tent, so I wouldn't use Milton on that, but I believe you can use diluted Milton on the outside of the flysheet to kill the mold spores. However, someone who is more familiar with synthetic tents will probably come on here tomorrow & give you more detailed instructions. Alternatively, use the search button at the top of the page & type in "mould", or "mildew" & it should lead you to other posts about this problem.
