Hi all
Just got back from a week in dawlish warren, had a fab time but one thing kept bugging me. The tent carpet kept slipping and moving around. I was wondering what others do to keep the carpet in place

thanks Gemma

Mine just stays in place, was it the carpet specific to your tent?

Maybe you could get some of that rug gripper stuff?

Hello all.
It does depend on whether a 'tent carpet' is used, or 'home carpet'.

The 'tent carpets' I've seen, have a backing similar to the SIG that grips the SIG.

I use a 'decorators' plastic backed cotton twill sheet (3*4 metres), that grips the SIG of my tent.
It cost me 5 GBP from a local Sunday Market.

The matching carpet would cost about 25 GBP.

I have tried 'home' carpets or rugs, but they do tend to slip.
I did fit some 'Duct Tape' on the underside which assisted grip, but my wife didn't want me to keep them. LOL

Each to their own.

Kind regards James

In the beginning there was darkness.
Then I bought a tent.
