hi

I have a coleman coastline 3 tent and need to get a shelter for it im considering the coleman classic awning or the vango adventure tarp.  Could anyone offer any advice on this please?

Thanks

Hi

The Vango Adventure Tarp has the advantage of the elasticated side securing behind the front arched pole of the tent so you have protection outside the front door of the tent. It will extend out 2m. It will work well with your tent. It works with all of ours, we just use longer guys and the porch poles of the tent for taller tents. You can add poles at all the guying points by trapping the tip of a king pole within the guyrope loop at the top. Depending on the weather you can offset the tarp to one-side or the other or drop the pole height for greater shelter from oncoming weather. You can also use it standalone with extra poles and even take it to the beach as a shelter. We used ours as a BBQ shelter at home strung from the balcony.

It is a very flexible bit of kit. IMHO - more so that the Coleman awning with its arched front pole, but the Coleman is bigger (although the Argos version has been described as a bit of a kite).
