I've just returned from a very wet & muddy festival in Wales & my poor Bell tent was looking a bit like a dalmation with all the mud splatters over it!  Does anyone know the best way to clean the mud off of it?

This happened to us last year. We let dry completely, then symply brushed the mud away... it came off fairly easily and cleanly..

Thats great, thanks for the reply, now just have to wait for the rain in sunny Essex to stop to be able to get the tent up again!

If brushing doesnt get rid of it,  brush it then rinse with alot of plain water (hose would be best).

Once dry, repeat if necessary .

This advice comes from De Waard and as they know a little about tents, I trust their advice :)
