HI Snowyowl.

We did have very strong winds, but it was the tentpole that failed on the nevada & tore the porch part that overlaps the tent. My porch stayed very firm as i had pegged it down very well.

I say that it was my error not securing the guy lines on the tent & missing a peg that caused all the problems.

I wouldn't hessitate to leave my porch up again in the same situation, i would just make sure id put the thing up correctly first lol.

Im very happy with my nevada, im not implying that every nevada owners tent will collapse. The quality is very evident to see & my tent is very sturdy.

I just want people to learn from my mistake & realise the guy lines, pegging points are there for a reason & not just to sit pretty in their little velcro holders lol.

Thankyou so much for all your advice & help in saving me alot of time & money. I will be purchasing the bits & bobs i need this weekend & my tent will be back to full fitness in no time.
