We are currently looking into campsites in the Isle of Wight so may end up there. Other favorites are North Yorkshire and The Lakes. We will probably keep bonnie Scotland for our shorter/weekend trips. So many places to go and such little time to do it all!!

We'll probablay be looking at Devon, IoW and possibly Brean (depending on what we make of it there next weekend) for our week long holidays. Will probably try and get two or three week long breaks in. Other than that I'll be trying local sites out for weekend breaks. Have currently shortlisted some Worcestershire ones out on here and saved to my virtual brochure. Pillaton is also just around 20 to 30 minutes away and so we might go there sometimes for 'last minute' weekends. My brother loves IoW and says there is loads to do there so I'm hoping there will be enough for us and our little boy who will be 2 by then.
We spent a lovely couple of weeks camping in the IOW last year. In fact the weather was sooooo nice people kept asking if we had been to the Isle of Brown instead. There are alot of good campsites on the IOW and the ferry trip across was loved by all our children then aged (4, 6, 9 and 11)
Hope you have fun. We are thinking of camping abroad next year although we can't decide on a country yet...France, Italy or Spain!!!
For big camping holiday....not really sure. We did Cornwall, Gorran for a week but it was long way to go. May stay more local as was surprised how like home Cornwall was for beaches and walks..hmmm. Though I am being tempted by Dorset as everyone is raving about it there and the weather tends to be warmer/better on the SE...so they say!! We have to stay on Anglesey as we are only 30-40 mins away and some of the beaches are amazing.Would LOVE to go just with DH to Ambleside area as went there for our 1st anniversary last year. Also Stratford Upon Avon appeals to me...don't know why. He fancies somewhere in Hampshire with the kids though....but at least he wants to go!
------------- It always rains on tents. Rainstorms will travel thousands of miles, against prevailing winds for the opportunity to rain on a tent.
I'm really hoping for a week in Somerset. I have a nan who lives just outside minehead and I was always shipped down there during the summer holidays as a kid and so the place holds a special place in my heart. Have always driven down past the camp sites and so hoping to be able to stay in one of them...will be very nostalgic for me.
Also hoping for a week in France however since we are complete newbies (total camp trips so far amounts to just 3 nights!!), we haven't fully investigated that yet and don't know where to start.
------------- Half Empty or Half Full, it doesn't matter..it simply means there is room for more beer in your glass!!
Two weeks at Bank Farm on the Gower the same as this year only in June next time. Fantastic views and not far from home what more could I want not even bad weather is not going to put me off.
The kids have made so many friends this year and we are defiantly going back to Trevarrian at Newquay, just need to find out when their friends are going back next year, their friends are regulars who go there every year. We have done Whitehill for 3 years so might give that site amiss next year. Going to River Dart Adventures on Sunday depends on what it's like there we might go back next year for a week. Bude Holiday Park aswell as the girls got friends there with seasonal pitches!!
