We are chuffed with this deal, we were going to buy a Monty and awning this week, had spent hours trawling the internet to find some deals to pricematch the tent and awning with and had got it down to £450 with the pricematch discount, so obviously this is even better!
I was wondering though, what is stock ususally like for these types of offers. We won't be able to get there until lunchtime on the first day of the offer and was wondering whether it is likely that all the Montys would have been snapped up. I don't want to risk leaving it to save an extra £50 for us to get there and there be none left at all. Would rather buy it for the £50 extra if there are usually only a few per store available.
Does anybody have any experience of the big deals from Go?
Hiya we brought the kalahari 8 tent on friday and took it away with us this weekend having looked on the website today i'm so glad we did as its gone back up to £349 !!!! we only payed £200 and got the carpet and footprint half price to !! but because we were making a special trip to pick one up i called the night before to see if they would put me one aside they did no problems and no deposit was required either, maybe a call to see if they would reserve one for you ? louise x
It will be interesting to see how many people actually get one. Seems to me that Go Outdoors put these prices on their flyers, but when you get there they are out of stock. Oddly the day after the offer runs out they are back in stock again. Amazing that
I suggest if you want a Monty at that price, you go the day before, make sure they have them in stock, then turn up the following day at opening time and buy one!
Thanks everyone, sounds like I might need that good luck! I aren't too bothered if I don't get it at that price as long as they come back into stock after, which, by the sounds of it they will, and I can try and pricematch then.
We have got three Go Outdoors stores within 45 mintues drive from home, so if push came to shove we could go on a bit of a wild goose chase. Just wish it was this week when hubby is off work!
I bought my Nevada M from them in another of their fantastic special deals. I was worried about stock so was waiting outside when they opened but I needn't have bothered. They still had plenty of stock when I went back a couple of days later.

Go Outdoors do seem to yo-yo their prices very quickly.
Take for instance one of these.
The other week they were £4.99,then £8.99 and at present £9.99.
Its funny how the went up £1 when the flyer has a 10% off everything printed on for this week only.
