Revamp!! sorry ran out of room. We are still on the lookout for a new tent but figure by March someone will have a new range. Outwell updated a lot last season who do think will be looking at a change this coming season??------------- *** A lie can run round the world before the truth has got its boots on***

I understand that manufacturers need to keep on developing and marketing new products to keep on growing and be successful but it seems to me they rush into change too quickly and discontinue tents which are perfectly good tents. Those which spring to mind are the Gelerts Vancouver and Utah 4. Also the Sunncamp Sprint range of tents. Doubtless there are others which I can't think of instantly.

The one annoying thing with all tent makers is once they drop a tent from their range then you are unable to find/buy the relevant carpet/footprints etc.
I think this is a ploy to get you to upgrade to a new tent which imo is not right.
Its the same when you want to buy replacement poles etc,the prices are extortionate, what a rip off.
Customer care is non existent(I don't mean retailers Gary.lol)------------- Sue & Phil

every company has a bit of a revamp every year, ive seen some very nice tents this year and just put our orders in with majority of the companies now.
Cant wait as we are expanding our range and hopefully we will get the numbers, sizes etc right.
Kampa tents are looking very swish this year
hope this helps

Small family tents/5-6 birth like the Nevada M and the Oakland that were hoping to see. No-one gets it quite right. Zips that go all round the doors to keep out draughts (Vangos let you down there). Ease in erecting and strength in winds. Everyone knows what we need I'd like manufacturers to deliver------------- *** A lie can run round the world before the truth has got its boots on***

Still think our Outwell Vermont M is our 'perfect' tent. Shame they don't make them any more as it's perfect for 2 people. Loads of space.
Will NOT be buying a new tent this year as we have the above and an Icarus 500 for those Friday evening 'let's just go somewhere' moments!!!
Can't wait to see the new stuff though.....just 'cos I'm on a diet doesn't mean I can't look at the menu!!!!

I wish Outdoor Revolution had continued to make tents - they were much better than the 'big brand' equivalents...
