we never use ehu we have a gas cartridge heater and gas lanten i have fleecy blankets which i lay on top of the bed sheet and then another on top of us before haveing the duvet on we have camped in some quite cold weather but have always been warm and toasty, although we do have a double skin tent with sewn in ground sheet so i suppose that helps, i also keep my fleece and traky bottoms under the bedding while im in bed then they are nice and warm to slip on top of my jamas for the morning toilet run.
Hi, we camped last year in the middle of march without ehu but it was just me & oh. Were camping at end of april for the bank holiday & werecamping with electric so we can have our heater on through the night for the kiddies.
Amy
me and my son of 4 camped out in swaledale on February 26th.
it rained alittle on the night and by morning the water droplets had froze to tent.
just wear plenty of layers of clothing to keep warm. not one thick jumper. with layers you can remove a layer if you get to warm.
it was nice and cosy in bed, but you could feel the cold on your face.
we off again at the end of this month.
