Well 4 of us have arrived safely and being the wimps we are, are all knackered and tucked up

flogs in his tin tent, tina and her 36 kids, wongers, and me arrived earlier today.

Have had the fires going but will have more to report later as all a bit tent lagged

still good to cook chicken fajitas over the fire for tea...

and now snuggled in bell tent until the sound of monkeys wakes me up... (monkey world is next door, we're not in kenya)

had a play with the bell and stuck bed down the side, works better

Sure it will be more interesting tomorrow!

The interior of your bell looks as gorgeous as ever. Loving the new rugs, etc. The bed does work on the side rather than the middle - looks great!

Oooh that looks lovely Val!

It's a shame I couldn't make it, but these things happen! Anyway, you know I said I was doing some work on my green caterpillar tent for next weekend.......well I have been a busy girl - I managed to make a canopy and sort out some snazzy blinds for the windows, a few other bits and bobs, and before you know it, it was nearly dark...so...GARDEN CAMPING....Yay!! I am really pleased with it so far and can't wait to try it out for real.........roll on next weekend!

Glad you guys all arrived safely and delighted the weather forecast is so good too.

I'm setting off about lunchtime but I am going to stick to my original plan and overnight up on Salisbury Plain so I'll be with you early on Saturday. I'll bring some more firewood.

Needless to say, Val's interior decor looks really sumptuous

Zenny I really love the colours of that tent. Good idea with the bed, ive been thinking about modifying a futon base to raise me slightly off the ground too.
