Hello, daft question!

We have booked onto a site for Easter break... they say 'no awnings with annexes', would you think a canopy will be OK?

Janie... still confused with jargon sometimes (maybe its the whiskey!)

Hi you will learn i time,      we all did.         lol    don't worry about it.                

   An awning is attached  to the side of a caravan, folding camper or trailer tent.   The annex is the bedroom pod that is fastened on the end of the awning either for sleeping in or as storage space.   

lots of people call gazebo's awning,daytent, or canopies. if they are not attached to the tent you could be charged extra for their use. and some sites are starting to not allow gazebo's because they can take off in the winds.

That sounds like it's for caravans. Do they also ask for breathable groundsheets if so sounds like no bed pods on the caravan pitches. Check with site.

This applies to caravans with awnings. Annexes are extra to the awning & can be zipped onto 1 or both ends of awning to provide extra bedrooms or storage. I guess the site don't want 'em because it makes the whole thing too wide.

You are ok with your canopy.
