We have a Coleman Coastline 6 man tent which have used once, last year.
I want to invest in a tent to make things a little comfier for when we go off in 3 weeks! Any recommendations? Reason Im asking is most tent carpets are expensive and the Coleman one for our tent doesn't actually fit snug to the correct dimensions. Anyone had any experience with this Coleman problem?

Not quite with you on this one, you say you want to invest in a tent do you mean you want a tent carpet? As for the coleman carpet not fitting snuggly have you seen one as it should fit snuggly according to coleman website. Are you sure its not the coleman "universal" carpet that youve seen

The size of the living area in the Coastline is 270cm wide x 240cm in length, the tent carpet size is 230cm x 230cm. I can't seem to find one that actually fits the correct dimensions.
When I search for 'Coleman Coastline 6 Carpet'. I can locate a carpet that states it fits exactly but it doesn't give any dimensions...I have read elsewhere that the universal tent carpet is the same size as the one that is supposed to fit?!?
Bit confused and don't want to spend £60 on a carpet that might not fit! Maybe there is somewhere I could find a universal carpet that will do, suppose it doesn't have to fit perfectly!
Ebay Coleman Coastline 6 Carpet states that it fits the required 6.72 Sq M living area? I'm not good with maths, but that seems to be bigger than the universal 2.3 x 2.3m one you mention....
Do let us know if you get the right one as I have the same tent and have also been looking

NOOOOOOO the 2.3 x 2.3 carpet is the coleman universal carpet I have one and all it says on the box is "coleman tent carpet 230 x 230" and its a green check pattern this size you can pick up for £20-£25. The picture on the box shows a coleman waterfall tent.
Seek out a genuine coastline 6 carpet if you want a snug fit

We had similar problems trying to find the right Coleman carpet for our old tent which was a Coleman Modulus X5, in the end we just measured our living area and found one that fitted in Go Outdoors, I think it was a Hi Gear one.
Have a look for a tent on the internet with the same size living area as your coastline and see if a carpet is available for it. Try the wynnster website as their carpets are pretty cheap

woops looks like i have bought the universal carpet lol only used the tent once before still look good in the middle of the floor and make the tent a tad warmer
