Mucky stuff like wellies and cagoules ,outside under a spare bit of tarp .Stuff we want drying ,we put in he car ,draped around and leave the windows open a notch ,the morning sun will dry them :]
In the enclosed porch in the big tent or hanging from the TBSII/lantern point (coats) at the top of the tent (dried a wet suit this way too). In the smaller tents, coats on the car's parcel shelf or dirt trapper mat and boots on the mat. Just make sure that vents are open.

We take lots of newspaper to stuff into shoes and wellies at night. We put wet stuff in car or in porch (as most have said) or if something is really wet, just leave outside!

We either put coats on the back of chairs overnight or rig up a hanging rail from the frame tent and hang things on hangers on that. Although with a canvas tent we have much less concern about condensation.
if its sunny the back window of your car is a great for drying clothes and kit out, if its still peeing it down i just bang my dry-suit and stuff in the car and leave it running for 15 minute with the heater on full by morning time its normally dry, just leave the window open a noche or that nasty smell will hit you

In the past we've had a coat rail in the porch, good for hanging wet coats, plus you can have one of those hanging shoe hangers on there too. Plus we have a compact rotary airer in there.

A carrier bag and a clothes peg would do the same job but be more fiddly. Far better to buy them when they are selling them off cheap in the local garden centre. I saw them last year for £8 and assume that no one bought them at that price, so snapped them up quick when they were having a clear out earlier in the year. I can highly recommend them - and they will be used all year round here so will earn there much reduced price tag!
